Ah, heaven. I'm a fan of the Baskin Robbins school of ice cream instead of those places that have truly weird flavors, even if they are homemade. Sloane's is kind of a throwback to ice cream shops of old. And it's more than an ice cream shop. There's chocolate and caramel apples. And they are open late so you can get your carb on after the movie, 11pm. Hidden in the interesting new shopping mall where the REI is located. Nice places to sit and lounge a bit on warm summer evenings just outside the shop which is hidden away on the center walkway of the mall. And delicious ice cream.

My favorite ice cream place in California (and I've been to a ton of 'em)! Creamy, delicious ice cream, fun atmosphere, great dark chocolate ice cream (I am extremely particular about my chocolate... I don't like it too sweet) and a good milk chocolate for those who like it sweet (but again, not overly sweet.. I sometimes get it as a second flavor). Great brownies and cookie dough. A little pricey, but worth the splurge. Generally good portions, so you can probably get away with splitting a single (comes with two flavors) if you bring a friend, and then the price is fine.

The best ice cream and dessert place EVER!!! I go to their stores in Florida and California and they are all amazing. Incredible home made ice cream and fun stuff. My kids love it. It is our favorite place!

Sloan's is a beautiful decorated icecream parlor, very colorful. You can find from an array of flavors to cookies, chocolate and hard candy by the pound, gum, gifts and novelties. Their icecream and items are not cheap but just to entering the place is enough to get in the mood for icecream. Children love their bathroom! Ut has a big window that you can see the people from the store while you shopping but as soon as the door locks the window fog up making it plain white to give privacy. To children that is magical! If you visit The Village mall you have to take your children there. Enjoy!

This place is truly amazing! I had the peanut butter cup sundae and it was hands down the best ice cream sundae I've ever had. Also grabbed one of their fresh out of the oven peanut butter cookies with huncks of peanut butter cups on top. AMAZING!!!

Cool looking place, subpar icecream unless you like awful flavors and worst sounding names. Would have given them one star but they did have vanilla

I had the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that were warm. I wish I was much younger where I can eat more than one cookie. I love the candy apples and all the other goodies here. Definitely a place to go.

I like the quality of ice cream here, not overly sweet, lots of pistachios in every bite of Pistachio ice cream unlike artificially flavored at other places with just a few pieces one finds in their cup. My whole family enjoys coming here .

This is a hilarious store with delicious sweets abs ice cream in the front and gag gifts in the back. The bathroom has a hilarious window that is see through when the door is not locked and tinted when the door is locked

So this place is definitely more for the experience & candy. If you are coming for ice cream, After's definitely has a higher quality, and Sloan's isn't terrible, but their ice cream is just as expensive, but you don't get as much as After's, and it's just not as good. This is a fun place to bring a kid--there is a variety of stuffed animals, the walls are lined with jelly beans, there are giant lollipops, and even an area where you can buy chocolate and fudge. The whole store is very colorful and creative, they have rainbow chandeliers, and it's just very vibrant. The chocolate is suuuper expensive, and the prices aren't listed. Ask for the price for what you are buying. It's like $5 for a peanut butter cup. It was good, but I probabaly wouldn't get it again. I also got truffles, and those were pretty good:)

Very clean, very friendly staff that goes out of your way to help you, the gag gifts are kept at a height at which children can’t read them which is perfect for young ones! The scoops are hefty and the toppings are plentiful! This is truly a store built for everyone :)

This place has some of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had and amazing milk. Also tons of great desert options with killer ice cream. I will make one hour trips in traffic just to eat here and plan around having this place nearby for a desert option they're that good.

Servers were slow especially for being so busy they took their time. The store itself is pretty cool even the bathroom. Fun place to wonder around in and the ice cream flavors are great my favorite bwas the carrot cake!

Sloane's is an amazing ice cream shope with great and unusual flavors. If you don't like stuff in your ice cream however this place isn't for you. They also have a very interesting bathroom that has to be seem to be believed.
